Xian - Private Terracotta Warrior Visits
2006-08-10
For our guests that are visiting Xian, the first capital of Modern China and one of China's friendliest cities, we are delighted to announce that we are now able to offer private visits to a small Warriors pit that is currently under excavation and which isn't normally open to visitors. There is an additional charge for this very special experience though we believe it is an incredible enhancement to any visit to Xian. The Terracotta Warriors date from over 2,000 years ago from the Qin Dynasty.

We also highly recommend a visit to the recently opened Tomb of Han Jing which superbly showcases the Terracotta Warriors of the Han Dynasty. Very different to the mainstream Terracotta Warriors but definitely another highlight of a visit to this fascinating city.

In Xian we can also offer visits to the Martial Arts University where we can arrange private demonstrations of China's mighty martial arts and which is perfectly geared to families visiting with teenagers.

Xian deservedly remains amongst our most popular destinataions in China and is less than a 2 hour flight from Beijing and only 2 hours from Shanghai.
