What's Hot - Yunnan Province

Yunnan Province in China's south-west is relatively less visited than other parts of China though with the recent opening of two stunning Banyan Tree properties (in both Lijiang and Shangri-La) there is now superb accommodation and these properties are worth every penny or cent.

Yunnan offers incredible scenery and its inclusion into a mainstream itinerary can be easily arranged and once here we take pleasure in showcasing the area's stunning scenery, its small villages and delightfully slow paced way of life.

Yunnan is also a superb way of entering Tibet as it allows a more gradual acclimatization to altitude which with Lhasa being at over 12,000 feet is a very important consideration when planning visits to this part of the country.
